Yorktown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center recently appointed Trista Winkenwerder, MHA, LNFA as the center’s new administrator.
Winkenwerder is no stranger to the Yorktown community. She served as Senior Administrator at Yorktown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center from February 2011 to July 2016, before being promoted to Regional Vice President – South Texas Region with Diversicare.
Under her leadership, Yorktown maintained a CMS 5-Star Overall Rating over four consecutive years, achieved multiple deficiency free state surveys, was named to US News & World Report Best Nursing Homes list and received the Diversicare Award of Excellence, the company’s top performance award.
Winkenwerder has more than 15 years of experience in long-term care, including twelve years as an administrator. She received a Masters of Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University and her Administrator’s License from St. Joseph’s College, in Waco, Texas.
