Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC, proudly hosted its North Alabama CNA Banquet on May 14, 2025, at St. Martin’s In the Pines, located at 4941 Montevallo Drive in Birmingham. This special event recognized Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) from across Diversicare’s North Alabama centers for their unwavering commitment to compassionate care.
This year’s CNA of the Year award was presented to Barbara Swanigan of Diversicare of Winfield. Barbara has faithfully served the Winfield center for 17 years, touching the lives of countless patients, residents, and family members with her caring heart and commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
“We’re proud to recognize the incredible compassion and dedication shown by our CNAs across North Alabama,” said Matthew File, North AL Regional Vice President. “It’s an honor to celebrate Barbara Swanigan as our 2025 CNA of the Year, and we thank all of our CNAs for the exceptional care they provide every day.”
CNAs were nominated by their individual centers for their dedication, excellence, and the meaningful relationships they foster with patients and residents. Each nominee was invited to attend the banquet, where their contributions were celebrated.
