ARAB, Ala. (June 27, 2025) – Diversicare of Arab Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center has been honored with the 2025 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), a national recognition of its commitment to delivering high-quality care.
The Silver Award is the second of three levels in the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, which recognizes long-term and post-acute care providers that meet rigorous standards for performance excellence. Silver-level recipients demonstrate effective approaches that drive measurable improvement in care and organizational outcomes.
“This award reflects the unwavering dedication of our team at Diversicare of Arab,” said Mandy Shaddrix, Diversicare of Arab Administrator. “Achieving Silver recognition is no small task, and we are proud of the progress we’ve made in delivering exceptional care to the patients, residents, and families we serve.”
Centers must first earn the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award before advancing to the Silver level. All applicants adhere to the criteria of the Baldridge Performance Excellence Program to evaluate and improve processes, which helps to create positive results.
Diversicare of Arab’s achievement places it among a select group of centers nationwide with elevated quality metrics and outcomes. This award serves as a testament to the team’s ongoing efforts to improve systems, elevate care standards and enrich the lives of patients, residents and team members.
